Brief History of Proact

The Proact toolkit is the results of 25 years of implementation across a dozen industries around the world. The Digital Transformation Toolkit has been in development since 1992 through the efforts of Art Caston, one of early pioneers and global leaders in Enterprise Architecture. Mr. Caston leveraged over two decades of lessons learned through real-world customer experiences to enhance an architectural approach to business transformation and achieve compelling business results.

Proact is based on a unique software Toolkit to fast-track Digital Transformation initiatives. The result accelerates your Business Architecture capabilities which is a key recipe for success. You have read articles like Data Is the New Currency of Digital Transformation or learned about Data Management breakthroughs from analysts or at conferences. What these experts may not have mentioned is how to execute the changes to make it happen. Proact uses a deep knowledge of Business Architecture to break through traditional challenges. Business architecture is defined as a blueprint of the enterprise that provides a common understanding of the organization and is used to align strategic objectives and tactical demands.

Monica Kimbrough

With over 27 years of successful track record performing as a highly experienced business executive, having held senior leadership roles with Global 100 companies such as Costco, Motorola, Best Buy, Teradata, Wells Fargo, Cisco Systems, Deutsche Telekom, Informatica, Salesforce, MetLife. Roles Performed:
  • Chief Information Officer.
  • Chief Enterprise Architect (Business, Operations, Systems & Technology).
  • VP of Service (Certified –Support Manager)
Managed enterprise-wide Digital Transformation initiatives at organizations in all industries and led international teams up to 500+ employees in multi-cultural environments. Currently leading Proact-DT digital trtansformations. Holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (Engineering & Technology Management) from the University of Dallas: The Graduate School of Management of The Braniff Graduate School.

Gabriela Valdes

Seasoned Business Development Executive with more than 30 years in the IT industry for Multinational and Mexican companies such as Anixter Krone, ISS, IBM, and Aruba-HP.

Holding different positions in the Commercial and Marketing areas, as well as Relationship Partner interfacing with IT and Business executives to develop solutions according to the business requirements. Focused in the Retail, Government, Financial Services and Telco Industries, positioning and selling products, solutions and services such as communications Networks, Consulting Security Information, Manage services for devices and best Cybersecurity practices. solutions, for Business Continuity and resilience services, IT Security and Cloud Infrastructure Security as a service.

She has developed and conducted successful sales and consulting organizations aligned to over-achieve results and over-deliver customer requirements and expectations. Gabriela has since established strong relationships with customers such as Grupo Alsea, Banco Santander, IMSS, Grupo Bal, Banco de México. etc.

Alfredo Navarrete

Alfredo Federico Navarrete Martínez is an economist, graduated from ITAM and holds a PhD from Columbia University, with a long history in the financial sector:
  • President Partner of Efficientia Soluciones Integrales since 2003
  • He has been a Member of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Bank of America Merril Lynch and Deutsche Bank.
  • Chairman of Casa de Bolsa Arka.
  • Chief Financial Officer of the Federal Mortgage Corporation and Banobras SNC.
  • Director of Corporate Financing for Vector Casa de Bolsa.
  • General Treasurer of Nafin.
  • Currently Member of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee at UBS Casa de Bolsa.

Member of the Center on Capitalism and Society at Columbia University. His experience includes the structuring and execution of more than 50 financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, etc.

Gerardo Valdes

With over 25 years of experience in Sales and Public Relations, Gerardo Valdés has worked for companies such as Price Waterhouse Coopers, Broadband Communications, Oesia and Uniacom.

As a Business Executive in Core One, he has established successful relationships with leading manufacturers and wholesalers of IT security and network technologies, such as Cisco, IBM, CheckPoint, Imperva, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Symantec, etc.

Gerardo has been responsible for the organization’s growth and diversification plan. Strategic accounts such as the Mexican Social Security Institute, Kio Networks, Axtel – Alestra, Issste, Engie, Profuturo, Alsea, Sedena, Actinver and Santander among others, were acquired.

Leading the areas of marketing and project management, Gerardo’s work has contributed to strengthen the areas of customer service and interdepartmental relations. His public relations experience and active participation in business presentations and events has been essential to gain companies recognition and prestige.

Claudia Rodriguez

Claudia graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Business Marketing.

While she was still in college, Claudia worked as a PR Manager for Love Your Melon and she also interned as a Creative Content Marketing Intern for a start-up company called Blend Systems (Now known as Genies).

After graduating, Claudia worked as the Director of Marketing at Agile Core and following her time there, she had the opportunity to take a position as Director of Marketing and Operations at Strong Arm Group. Some of her responsibilities as a Marketing Director included, managing relationships with partners and vendors, developing marketing strategies, managing social media presence, creating presentations and press releases, liaising with superiors to make decisions for operational activities and setting strategic goals, coordinating and managing trade shows, etc.

Most recently, Claudia has been working as an Executive Assistant at Ares Management where she is responsible for business development and office management.

Rusell Evans

Russ is an experienced consultant, product designer/developer of data driven web applications and other IT solutions. He has a 9 year background in Enterprise Portfolio and Architecture Management tooling, working extensively with Planview’s Troux platform, and creating BusinessGraph, a cloud-based, transformation planning and visualization tool. He has worked with the Proact Framework for 8 years, including work at Cisco, Informatica, and ANZ Bank.

He is actively involved in designing IOT solutions, leveraging serverless technologies to provide reliable, performant business solutions at scale.

Russ is a proponent of Robotic Process Automation with experience of identifying high value use cases where RPA can deliver more effectively to organizational goals than traditional approaches.
